The temperatures are dropping and those frosty, dark, and cold winter mornings are here to stay.  There is nothing worse than heading outside in the early morning and its freezing cold!  There are a lot of things that you can do to make those freezing winter mornings a bit more bearable. One of the first things I think about when I hear the word “fall” is Fudge.  Seriously.  There is something about a good fudge recipe that makes my heart flutter.  Fudge resonates with Fall and Winter for me because, well, fudge just does not stand up to summer temperatures very well.  Our local fall fair is full of vendors offering artisan Fudges in flavours you could only dream up in your wildest fudge fantasies.  One of my favourite Fudge flavours has to be White Chocolate Oreo Cookie Fudge.

You may have heard the Zero Based Budget term floating around lately.  It seems to be the new financial buzz word. Budget minded people often hear that they should have a zero based budget, but if you’re new to budgeting and trying to live frugally, it can be hard to figure out exactly what that means. Fortunately, it’s very easy to figure out and even easier to put into practice once you get the basics down.

To start, let’s talk about what a zero based budget is.  A zero based budget is almost exactly like the budget you currently have, or not, but with one big difference. You need to spend every, single, penny.   I know what you are thinking.. sounds like fun right?   Well you’d be right if you know that every single penny must be used and accounted for wisely.  With this type of budget, you will take any money that is left over after you’ve budgeted your expenses and assign it to either savings, debt or investments that’s it.

There comes a time in every Woman’s life when you just need a beautiful fantasy skirt.  It might be for yourself, your child, or a friend in need.  There are so many different ways to incorporate a tulle skirt especially around Halloween.  Why go out and buy a skirt when you can make one in a snap?  Truly, this skirt is very easy to make.  I’m not a dress maker or even a crafter, in fact, I don’t have much sewing experience at all.  Good thing too, because to make this skirt you don’t have to sew anything!
