One of the first things I think about when I hear the word “fall” is Fudge. Seriously. There is something about a good fudge recipe that makes my heart flutter. Fudge resonates with Fall and Winter for me because, well, fudge just does not stand up to summer temperatures very well. Our local fall fair is full of vendors offering artisan Fudges in flavours you could only dream up in your wildest fudge fantasies. One of my favourite Fudge flavours has to be White Chocolate Oreo Cookie Fudge.
Oreo Cookies are one of my family’s favourite indulgences. There are so many delicious sweet treats that can be made with the humble chocolate and cream cookie. like Ice Cream. Smooth vanilla ice cream with crispy sweet Oreo cookie bits in it, must have been made by the gods of confectionery. Even on their own, nothing satisfies a good sweet tooth like an Oreo Cookie can. Pair with a cold glass of Milk, can we just say: Heaven.
It’s only natural that our love of the Oreo cookie and Fudge fuse together to create one of the best sweet tooth satisfiers in the Northern Hemisphere. You could make this with a chocolate based fudge recipe but the Oreo’s would drown out in the sea of chocolate. Since Oreo’s go so well with Milk, white chocolate based fudge is the perfect receptor. Using a white chocolate based fudge recipe with Oreo gives the perfect canvas and lets the Oreo cookies shine on display, almost like they are gloriously floating in a glass of milk, prompting heart palpitations from anyone within a quarter mile. Only they’re not floating in a glass of milk, they’re suspended in a sea of white chocolate Fudge. Oh. my.
I have good news, you don’t have to wait until your local fall fair to indulge in this fudge. You can make this right at home using your own favourite white chocolate and flavor of Oreo cookie. For this recipe, I use classic Oreo’s but you can use any type of Oreo cookie’s available where you live. I’ve seen some pretty tasty options out there like Red Velvet, Mint, Cookie Dough, Birthday Cake and even Golden Oreo’s: another personal favourite. So, go ahead and mix this up any way you like it. Sugar, you could also use different cookies if you aren’t an Oreo Cookie Lover. *Gasp*
The white chocolate fudge base of this recipe can be used with so many different cookies, candies, chocolates, nuts and fruits. Let your imagination run wild, it’s totally okay. This recipe produces a very rich white chocolate fudge that you can even enjoy all on its own. But don’t be a plain Jane. That’s offensive. The White Chocolate Oreo Fudge headline is what brought you here, so you may as well just make it as is.
Don’t worry, I know you’re busy.
This isn’t a hard recipe; I’ve made it easy for you.
So what are you waiting for?
Step 1: Melt the chocolate.
Step 2: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth
Step 3: Stir 3/4 of the Oreo Cookies into the cream cheese mixture
Step 4: Spread Mixture, press cookies into the top
Step 5: Chill, Cut & INDULGE!
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 cups confectioners' (powder) sugar
- 15 ounces white chocolate, chopped
- 15 Oreo cookies, broken into chunks
Instructions
- In the bowl of your mixer, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and no lumps remain.
- Melt the white chocolate in the top of a double boiler (or just a glass bowl set over a pot) over lightly simmering water, heat white chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir the melted white chocolate and 3/4 of the Oreo cookies into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread into a parchment lined small baking dish (8x8 if you have one). Press the remaining cookies into the top of the fudge to make it look pretty.

I always have to hide some! It goes far too fast!

It’s very simple to make, although I can’t guarantee there’ll be any left 😉
Mmmmm…fudge. It has literally been years since I’ve had any fudge. This is the perfect little recipe to get me back into the swing of it.

Oreo fudge? Yes please! That looks sinfully delicious!
YUM! This looks amazing, I say skip dinner right now and eat this! I love Oreo’s!
Wow, those are some generous sized chunks of OREOs in that fudge. I wonder, do they soften at all from the moisture of the chocolate over time?
If it sat for a few days, yes it might soften. It’s best to eat it all fresh 😉
This looks delicious! It’s funny…. I can’t stand regular Oreos. My boyfriend and daughter eat them like crazy, but I think they’re so gross. BUT, I love Oreo flavored stuff…. Truffles, brownies, cheesecake, ice cream – and my boyfriend hates all of that stuff, because he doesn’t like them once they’re in a recipe and have gotten soft. This is DEFINITELY something I’m going to try – and I’ll get to eat it all myself 🙂
Fudge? Check. Oreos? Check. Deliciousness confirmed. BOOYAH!
Hooo boy. That is fantastic. I can’t think of a better base for fudge than Oreos.
This would be PERFECT for the family this holiday season! We are HUGE Oreo fans and there is not a person among us that doesn’t like fudge.
This will be a HUGE hit then 😉
I want eat ALL the fudge! OMG, it sounds awesome.
Confession: I almost have. OMG.
